This week AMSI and CSIRO Vacation Research Scholarship Students met at UNSW Australia to present their summer projects at CSIRO’s Big Day In.
Over the two days students presented their research projects. Topics included the algebra of knots, statistical methods to streamline emergency department wait times and algorithms that could revolutionise significance testing.
Congratulations to Thomas Moore and Melissa Lee who won the Cambridge University Book Prizes for the best presentations.
